Hi. I used to be Kutsuwamushi on LJ, and am usually (but not always) Kutsuwamushi other places. I'm also on Twitter now (pompelon), but I'm trying to use this for more long-form thoughts.

In the twenty or so years since I first found online fandom, I've had many different interests - some of which have never gone away. I can talk to you for ages about Sailor Moon, the very first show I was fannish about. I collect fandoms like a magpie collects shiny baubles. A lot of this journal is fannish, but not focused on a particular fandom. I like to post about whatever thing has my attention right now.

Currently, my major fandom is MDZS/CQL, with a side of other danmei works.

Outside of fandom, my hobbies are writing original fiction, listening to a variety of music, and avoiding real life. I did a PhD in linguistics, but left academia because--well. Ask me about languages and I will use the opportunity to nerd out.

I'm pretty open about granting access. I don't post many sensitive personal things here, but sometimes lock entries to keep them off search engines or whatever. I generally grant access to everyone I subscribe to, and won't feel insulted if you don't grant access in return (I know we all use it for different things). Also, I'm here for the community: If you can see an entry, you're welcome to comment on it, even if we don't know each other yet.
